Using the Forum

Forum Icons
This is more of a list of what all the icons do that you can click on.


General Forum Icons:

[image] - This will start a new post or reply to a post

[image] - This will start a new poll

[image] - This will add a poll to a already started topic

[image] - This will search the forum for all key words you type in

[image] - This will bookmark a topic into your profile to keep an eye on it

[image] - This will email the topic to someone

[image] - This will print out the topic (please dont use for school ;) )

[image] - This will add the topic to Facebook

[image] - This will add the topic to Digg

[image] - This will quote that post in your post (please do NOT edit their post when making your post!)

[image] - This will modify/edit your post, just in case you forgot something or want to change something

[image] - This will delete your post, please make sure before deleting. On the forum home page it will hide that section on the Info Center


User Profile Icons:

[image] - If the user has a homepage or a page they like, this will take you to it

[image] - This will allow you to email the user

[image] - This will allow you to Private Message (PM) the user

[image] - This will take you to their Facebook profile (must be signed in to Facebook to view)

[image] - This will take you to their Xbox profile (must be signed in to view)

[image] - This will take you to the users Devianart profile

[image] - This will allow you to IM them on AIM

[image] - This will allow you to IM them on YIM

[image] - This will allow you to IM them on MSN messenger or Live Messenger


Private Messaging (PM):

[image] - This will take you back to your inbox

[image] - This will let you make a new PM

[image] - This will delete all your PMs in the current box (inbox/outbox) you are viewing, be very careful when clicking this

[image] - This will take you to your outbox to view messages that have been sent

[image] - This will make a zip file of all your PMs in your inbox only, instructions follow on how it works after you click it

[image] - You can adjust the settings for your PM inbox and such


When Posting:
All icons in this section refer to tags that allow you change how your post will look. All text that will be affected by the tag must be between the 2 tags that show up. You can also combine multiple tags to get different looks.

[image] - This will make your text bold

[image] - This will make your text italic or slanted

[image] - This will underline all your text

[image] - This will put a line through all your text

[image] - This will make your text glow the color in the tag and the size depending on the second number and the distance depending on the first number

[image] - This will add a shadow to your text, very similar to the glow, but with a direction instead of a number

[image] - This will make you text move up, down, left, or right

[image] - This will make your text really small, and look like typewriter text and able to fit the post if you have a paragraph of text, great for blogging

[image] - This will align your text to the left

[image] - This will center your text

[image] - This will align your text to the right

[image] - This will add a straight line in your text, or horizontal line

[image] - This will let you increase your font size

[image] - This will let you change the font of your post, must know commonly used fonts, no special downloaded fonts will work

[image] - This will bring up a color chart, when you click on the color you want, it will add the tag to your post instantly

[image] - This will let you post a video from Youtube on here, just copy and paste the URL between the tag, recommend not to use any other tags, and very little text when posting a video

[image] - This will indent your font, like you hit tab

[image] - This will add a link to your text to go anywhere else on the web. Please no porn or anything offensive!

[image] - This will add an image to your post

[image] - Must put your email address between the tags, and people will see and be able to click on your email address and send you a message

[image] - This will bring up a table editor and allow you to put a table on your post

[image] - This will add a column to your already made table, must be within the current table tags

[image] - This will add a row to your already made table, must be within the current table tags

[image] - This will raise your text within the tag higher than the rest

[image] - This will lower your text within the tag lower than the rest

[image] - This will make you text look like typewriter text, very close together and small

[image] - This will allow you to post code on the forum without it affecting your post

[image] - This will allow you to make a quote in your post if you are coping outside sources

[image] - This will allow you to make a list with bullet points

[image] - This will put a random dice roll on your post, what ever the number is in the tag is how many sides are on the die


For Mods:

[image] - This will open the advanced moderator functions

[image] - Allows you to move a thread(s)

[image] - This will delete a thread(s)

[image] - This will lock a thread(s)

[image] - This will unlock locked thread(s)

[image] - This will sticky or unsticky a thread(s)

[image] - This will make the thread(s) sticky and locked

[image] - This will bump a post to the top of the list

[image] - This will make the topic an Announcement for all the boards to see

[image] - This will remove the topic from being an Announcement


**I'm sure theres more icons on the forum that I just forgot about, since I made like over 100 icons, if there is something missing or that you need to know about, PM me please.
